Kristen Bell supports 'Veronica Mars' movie, tells fans to 'bombard' Warner Bros. with Tweets. Kristen Bell is supporting various online campaigns pushing to make Veronica Mars, the teen detective drama series that made her a star, into a movie and has told fans to "bombard" Warner Bros., which owns the rights to the franchise, with Twitter messages.
The company has not commented. Veronica Mars ran for three seasons on UPN and the CW network before it ended in 2007 following lackluster ratings.
Bell, now 30, played a sassy, loner high school and college student who worked as a private investigator in her father's company and dug up dirt for both clients and for her own personal inquires, namely those involving her peers and teachers.

"Mars fans-can we bug @wbpictures & tell em the must do a VM film??" Bell wrote on her Twitter page recently. "New tactic. bombard em w/tweets, theres evidence of fans they cant ignore. Who else has VM pages or petitions? Send em to me and ill retweet so we can all get on the same page and form a team."
The show starred Enrico Colantoni as her father and Amanda Seyfried Tina Majorino of Big Love as her friends. Paris Hilton, Police Academy actor Steve Guttenberg, Clerks director Kevin Smith and Alyson Hannigan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and How I Met Your Mother made guest appearances. Reports of a possible Veronica Mars movie have been floating around since the series was axed and fans have continued to push for one. A Facebook page called "I will go see Veronica Mars:: THE MOVIE" has more than 15,000 members. An online petition pushing for a film has more than 7,770 signatures.
Since Veronica Mars ended, Bell starred in the romantic comedy film When in Rome, had a recurring part in the sci-fi series Heroes and voices the narrator of the show Gossip Girl. The actress also stars in the new movies Burlesque, You Again with Betty White and Scream 4 with Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and Anna Paquin. "Guys-go see You Again on sept 24th," Bell said on her Twitter page. "The character isnt as snarky as VM but shes just as sassy. And she looks EXACTLY like veronica mars."
