MEGHAN McCain doesn’t think very highly of Bristol Palin

The daughter of Senator John McCain has hit out at Sarah Palin’s 20-year-old daughter for not voting in Tuesday’s elections.Bristol — who is in L.A. competing on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars — told Inside Edition she forgot to send in her “absentee ballot in Alaska. I’m going to be in trouble. Sorry, Mom!”

Appearing on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno, McCain, 26 said, “If you didn’t vote in my family that was like bad news. I’ve been voting since I turned 18.“I guess it’s only important for Bristol Palin to vote for Dancing With the Stars. I think a lot of women worked really hard to give us the right to vote. Anyone that doesn’t vote is just ridiculous.”

Just because she didn’t vote, Palin still has opinions on politics: She thinks her mom should run for president in 2012.“I know that she’s great and she’d be great for our country,” she said.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ cleans up locally and nationally Monday ..

“Dancing With the Stars” was, by far, the favorite series of Central Florida viewers Monday night. The ABC dance contest averaged 299,300 viewers and it was way ahead of No. 2, CBS’ “Two and a Half Men,” with 170,500. The other top programs locally were ABC’s “Castle” with 169,100, CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” with 131,800, CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O” with 127,700, Fox’s “House” with  125,100 and CBS’ “Mike & Molly” with 122,300.“Dancing” was also the most-watched program nationally, averaging 19.3 million viewers over two hours. “Dancing” boosted Disney-owned ABC to victories in total viewers and in the 18-to-49 age group.

ABC averaged 16.7 million viewers in prime time. Here’s how the other networks fared: CBS with 10.2 million, Fox with 7.6 million, NBC with 5.6 million and The CW with 1 million for reruns.  CBS was a close second to ABC in the 18-to-49 age group.At 8, “Dancing” was tops. Fox’s “House” was second with 9.5 million. Then came the CBS comedies “How I Met Your Mother” (8 million) and “Rules of Engagement” (7.9 million). “Chuck” on NBC was the choice of 5.3 million. At 9, “Dancing” still was in front. 

 

 Then came the CBS comedies “Two and a Half Men” (13.4 million) and “Mike & Molly” (11 million). “The Event” on NBC drew 6.4 million. Fox’s “Lie to Me” persuaded 5.7 million. At 10, ABC’s “Castle” entertained 11.6 million and surpassed CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O” with 10.6 million. NBC’s “Chase” was the choice of 5.2 million.

"Katy wants everything to be special for their wedding, including the first night. The sex ban was definitely her idea." Katy Perry  - Katy Perry and Russell Brand will marry in India on November 23rd, 2010. The couple will tie the knot in the same hotel where Russell Brand proposed to Katy Perry on New Year's Eve last year.

 

The wedding will take place the the Taj Rambagh Palace hotel in Jaipur in a traditional Hindu ceremony. Before the ceremony, the couple will take the entire wedding party for a tiger safari during a three-day stay at Rajasthan wilderness camp. According to reports, Katy Perry and Russell is flying 85 friends and family members out to the bash in India.

Katy Perry was recently kicked out of Sesame Street after the production company received complaints about her singer's cleavage in the promo clip. Sesame workshop released the following press release about their decision to pull her:

"In light of the feedback we've received on the Katy Perry music video, which was released on YouTube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschooler," the company said in a statement Thursday. "Katy Perry fans will still be able to view the video on YouTube."

A Manhattan court filing Monday said the actress has withdrawn her case against the brokerage, which she'd accused of making her the implied target of jokes about a "milkaholic" named Lindsay in a Super Bowl ad this year.E-Trade Financial Corp. spokeswoman Susan Hickey said the case's end reflected a "simple business decision" for the New York-based firm, but she wouldn't discuss details. Lohan's lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, didn't immediately return a call seeking comment. The brokerage has put out a series of ads featuring adult-voiced babies talking about online trading. In the Super Bowl spot, a baby's infant girlfriend asks suspiciously whether "that milkaholic Lindsay" has paid him a visit.

 

Another female baby pops into the picture and says in a woozy voice: "Milk-a-what?" Lohan, 24, has had high-profile trouble with drinking and drug use. The "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" star spent two weeks in jail in California this year for violating her probation in a 2007 case involving drug use and driving under the influence.

A Beverly Hills judge issued an arrest warrant for Lohan on Monday after the actress acknowledged failing a drug test. The warrant was stayed until a hearing Friday to determine whether she violated her probation.

Lohan's lawyer said in court papers filed last month that the E-Trade commercial deliberately referred to Lohan. "These babies in their commercials were symbolic and were not acting just as cute babies but were actually portraying (Lohan) and her grown-up friends," Ovadia wrote.

E-Trade called Lohan's claims meritless. Lawyers for the company noted in an April court filing that Lohan isn't the world's only Lindsay — or generally associated with online trading or banking. "No reasonable person would connect (Lohan) with the E-Trade commercials," they wrote.
